Enosburg woman arrested on outstanding warrants during traffic stop

ST. ALBANS — A 37-year-old Enosburg woman was arrested on outstanding warrants Wednesday night after police conducted a traffic stop on Cedar Street.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks were on patrol around 10:24 p.m. when they observed a vehicle committing a motor vehicle violation.

During the subsequent traffic stop, officers identified a passenger as Ashley Hamlin of Enosburg.

Hamlin was found to have active arrest warrants and was taken into custody.

The warrants included charges of felony vehicle operation without owner consent (aggravated) and felony buying, receiving, selling, possessing or concealing stolen property valued over $900.

Hamlin was transported to Chittenden County Correctional Center where she was held on $1,000 bail.
