DUNKIRK — A six-month investigation into narcotics activity led to the arrest of a Dunkirk man after authorities executed a search warrant Wednesday morning.
Felipe Otero-Otero was taken into custody after investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department and Jamestown Police Department searched his residence at 3711 Rt 5 Lot 53 in the Town of Dunkirk.
Entry was made by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT team at approximately 9 a.m.
Investigators seized 9.38 grams of cocaine, scales, packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $153 in U.S. currency during the search.
Otero-Otero was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
He was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for the Centralized Arraignment Program.
