Brattleboro police make 11 arrests in week-long period

BRATTLEBORO — Eleven individuals were arrested by the Brattleboro Police Department during the period of March 19-27, according to a press release issued by the department.

Angel Rosado, 37, of Brattleboro, was arrested twice during this period.

On March 19, Rosado was cited for unlawful trespassing and violation of conditions of release following a complaint at Groundworks.

The following day, Rosado was arrested again on Flat Street for violation of conditions of release and possession.

He was held on $500 bail and scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on March 20.

David Mears, 47, of Brattleboro, was arrested on March 20 on Elliot Street after officers discovered he had two active arrest warrants.

Mears was held on $700 bail.

Shannon Mylott, 26, of Brattleboro, was arrested for unlawful trespass on March 20 following a complaint at the Brattleboro Food Co-op.

Heather Wheeler, 51, of Sharon, was cited on March 21 for leaving the scene of an accident on Main Street.

Preis Lyn Benoit, 36, of Brattleboro, was arrested for retail theft on March 22 following a complaint at Hannaford.

Kannan Kain, 34, of Brattleboro, was arrested on March 23 at Circle K for unlawful trespass and retail theft.

Kourtney Childs, 24, of Brattleboro, was arrested on March 24 on Oak Grove Avenue on an active warrant and held on $200 bail.

Isaac Crawford, 25, of Brattleboro, was arrested on March 25 on Putney Road on an active warrant and held on $100 bail.

Justin Clough, 45, of Brattleboro, was cited on March 26 on Putney Road for an active warrant.

Felicia Surething, 35, of Springfield, was cited on March 26 at the Brattleboro Transportation Center for an active warrant.

John Hunt, 33, of Oakdale, Connecticut, was arrested on March 26 on Putney Road for aggravated assault, aggravated disorderly conduct, and disorderly conduct.

Hunt was held on $1,000 bail.

All individuals are scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on various dates in March and April.
