LYNDON — Vermont State Police have charged a Fairlee woman as an accessory after the fact in connection with a January robbery at a local gas station.
Michaela Plante, 28, was issued a citation following the conclusion of a police investigation into the assault and robbery at the Mobil Mart on Broad Street.
The incident occurred on Jan. 5 at the Lyndonville gas station, according to state police.
Investigators determined Plante committed the crime of accessory after the fact, though details of her alleged involvement were not specified in the police statement.
Plante is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on May 12 at 8:30 a.m. to face the charges.
State police expressed gratitude to the public for providing numerous tips since the robbery, which they said greatly assisted with the investigation.
