STRAFFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a Strafford man Tuesday evening on an outstanding warrant from a neighboring town.
Troopers from the Royalton barracks responded to a residence on Kibling Hill Road at approximately 7:17 p.m. on March 25.
While at the location, officers identified William Canterbury, 40, of Strafford, and confirmed he had an active warrant from Thetford for False Pretense.
Canterbury was taken into custody and issued a citation to appear before Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 26 at 12:30 p.m.
He was held at Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $50 bail.
