SIMSBURY — A 28-year-old Coventry man was arrested Monday for allegedly throwing multiple Molotov cocktails at an occupied home in Simsbury last November, police said.

Adam Julian, of 33 Wall Street, was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder in the commission of arson, first-degree arson of an occupied building, and illegal bomb manufacturing.

The incident occurred on Nov. 6, 2024, when Julian allegedly targeted the home of a former acquaintance, according to the Simsbury Police Department.

No injuries were reported among the home’s occupants.

Julian was held on a $1 million bond and transported to Hartford Superior Court for arraignment on Tuesday.

The Simsbury Police Department investigated the case with assistance from the Simsbury Fire Marshal’s Office and the Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosive Investigation Unit.
