CHARLTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Milton woman on multiple felony charges following a one-car crash Tuesday night in Charlton.

Dianna R. Duell, 40, was charged with aggravated DWI-per se, DWI, and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or greater, all class D felonies, after the 9:43 p.m. accident on Maple Avenue.

Deputies also charged Duell with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, a class E felony.

According to investigators, Duell’s blood alcohol content measured .18% or greater at the time of the incident.

The DWI charges were elevated to felonies due to two prior DWI convictions within the past 10 years.

Authorities say Duell was driving with a suspended and revoked license due to previous alcohol-related offenses.

Additional charges include leaving the scene of a property damage accident, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an uninspected vehicle, and failure to keep right.

Deputies report Duell struck and damaged a mailbox before leaving the scene without providing license and insurance information to the property owner.

Duell was arraigned before Judge Sean Piasecki in Charlton Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
