CORTLAND — A Cortland man was arrested on drug possession and unlicensed operation charges following a traffic stop on March 26, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Everett C. McIntosh, 40, of Greenbush Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both misdemeanors.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop at approximately 10:06 a.m. on US Route 11 in the Town of Cortlandville.
Officers determined McIntosh was operating a vehicle on Port Watson Street in the City of Cortland while his New York State driving privileges were revoked.
McIntosh was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, authorities said.
He was arrested and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
McIntosh was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the City of Cortland Court on April 14 at 9 a.m. for arraignment.
