WATERBURY — Officers from the Waterbury Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit seized crack cocaine, heroin and controlled substance pills during a traffic stop on March 21.
Police were conducting proactive traffic enforcement in the area of Midfield Drive around 12 p.m. when they stopped a vehicle for traffic violations.
During the investigation, officers discovered and seized crack cocaine, 110 bags of heroin and controlled substance pills.
Dave Rodriguez, 31, of Waterbury, was arrested and charged with insufficient insurance, improper use of plates, operating a drug factory, illegal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
