SPRINGFIELD — A 38-year-old Springfield man was arrested on an active in-state warrant Wednesday after police responded to reports of a man dancing and hanging from trees in a wooded area.
Officers were dispatched to the area behind residences on Bacon Street at approximately 7:30 a.m. on March 5 after a caller expressed concern for the welfare of a male in the woods.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Justin Fiske, who was taken into custody without incident after police discovered he had an active arrest warrant.
Fiske was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
He was later transferred to the Windsor County Criminal Court by the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department to answer to the charge.
