SAUGERTIES — A 35-year-old Saugerties man was arrested on drunk driving charges following a complaint in the early hours of March 22.
Michael R. Yonta was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC greater than .08, both misdemeanors, according to the Saugerties Police Department.
The arrest occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. on John Shults Road.
Yonta was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Saugerties Town Court at a later date.
Diaz Ambulance and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office assisted Saugerties police at the scene.
