MINEOLA — A Queens woman was arrested for allegedly throwing red liquid on a statue of Theodore Roosevelt during a pro-Palestinian protest, Nassau County police said.
Allyson Fairbanks, 60, of Queens, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and making graffiti following the incident that occurred Saturday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m.
According to detectives, Fairbanks threw the red-colored liquid on the statue of the former president at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building located at 1550 Franklin Avenue.
