NICHOLS — A Nichols man was arrested after allegedly using his vehicle to chase and strike another person’s car following a domestic dispute, according to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office.

Albert T. Fredenburg Jr., 41, was arrested on March 23 and charged with attempted assault in the second degree, a class E felony.

He also faces misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators said Fredenburg chased the complainant with his vehicle after a domestic incident, then struck the complainant’s vehicle in an apparent attempt to stop it.

Fredenburg was processed at the Tioga County Jail and arraigned at CAP Court with Justice Grinage.

He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Nichols Court on March 26.
