BOSTON — An 85-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday afternoon in East Boston has been located, according to the Boston Police Department.
Phyllis Dantona, who suffers from dementia, had been reported missing after she was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. on Orleans Street.
Police had issued an alert Wednesday morning describing Dantona as a slim white female, approximately 5’4″ tall with red hair, last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans while carrying a brown pocketbook.
Authorities canceled the missing person alert after confirming Dantona was found safe.
No additional details about where she was found or her condition were immediately available.
