TRENTON — Four people were injured in a two-car crash on State Route 365 near Prospect Road in the Town of Trenton at 9:06 a.m. Monday, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.

Road patrol deputies determined that Alisha Burns, 31, of Remsen, was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla eastbound on State Route 365 when she lost control due to slushy road conditions and black ice.

Burns’ vehicle spun into the westbound lane, colliding with a 2017 Subaru Outback driven by Sarah Gaasch, 41, also of Remsen.

Two juveniles were transported to Wynn Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance.

Burns was airlifted to Upstate Hospital by Mercy Flight.

Gaasch was taken to Wynn Hospital by Boonville Ambulance for further evaluation.

None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by New York State Police, Barneveld Volunteer Fire Department, Remsen Volunteer Fire Department, Mercy Flight, Star Ambulance, Kunkel Ambulance, and Boonville Ambulance.
