BROADALBIN — A vehicle caught fire Sunday night on Midline Road north of Ernie’s Lane in the Town of Broadalbin, prompting response from multiple fire departments.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company and Perth Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the scene at 9:17 p.m. on March 23.
Responding units found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the roadway, according to a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander at the scene.
All occupants had safely exited the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Police closed a section of Midline Road while crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
Perth Volunteer Fire Company was requested to provide a tanker to assist with the firefighting efforts.
Police also responded to the incident.
