SHERBURNE — A 61-year-old Sherburne resident was arrested Thursday for allegedly violating an order of protection, according to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.
Christopher J. Favaloro was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree after deputies received a complaint about the violation.
Investigators determined Favaloro had violated a court order directing him to stay away from the protected party’s home, school and place of employment.
Favaloro was taken into custody without incident, authorities said.
He is scheduled to appear in Village of Sherburne court at a later date.
