BOSTON — An 88-year-old man with dementia who went missing from a Washington Street restaurant has been located, Boston police announced Monday.
Chongyao Yaun had been reported missing after he was last seen at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at a hot pot restaurant located at 702 Washington Street.
Police had issued an alert describing Yaun as an Asian male, approximately 5’3″ tall, who walks with a cane and wears hearing aids.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark blue hat, blue jacket, white shirt, and blue jeans.
The Boston Police Department confirmed Yaun has been found, though no additional details about his condition or where he was located were provided.
