GUILFORD — A Guilford man was arrested on domestic assault charges after allegedly becoming violent while under the influence of drugs early Saturday morning.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a call from Rescue Inc. at 1:22 a.m. on March 22 requesting assistance with a violent individual.
Investigation revealed that David Scott Jr., 22, had assaulted a household member, according to police.
Scott was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court on March 24 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of domestic assault.
The name of the 23-year-old victim was not released, as Vermont State Police does not disclose the identities of victims of domestic violence.
