LINCOLN — Lincoln Police officers arrested a Massachusetts man on first-degree robbery charges after he allegedly stole cash and a winning voucher from an elderly woman at Bally’s Casino early Sunday morning.

On March 23, at approximately 6:05 a.m., officers responded to Bally’s Casino for a report of a robbery involving an elderly female victim.

Upon arrival, police met with Bally’s Security who provided a description of the suspect and details of the incident.

Security personnel informed officers that the suspect had stood behind the elderly woman for several minutes before forcefully pulling her winning voucher and cash from her hands.

The suspect had fled the casino toward adjacent neighborhoods, according to security staff.

Lincoln Police searched the area and located the alleged robbery suspect within minutes, identifying him as Christopher Pagan, 31, of Lowell, Massachusetts.

Pagan was transported back to the casino where an officer who had previously viewed security footage positively identified him as the alleged perpetrator.

Due to the victim’s age, Pagan is being charged with first-degree robbery.
