LYNDONVILLE — Two men were arrested and two loaded firearms were seized during a search warrant execution at 446 Dune Way early Friday morning, according to Lyndonville Police.

Andrew Young, 37, of Lyndon, and Xavion Martin, 23, of Springfield, Massachusetts, were taken into custody around 4:55 a.m. March 14 when officers executed a search warrant at the residence.

Young, who was found hiding in a closet, is a fugitive from justice with an outstanding felony arrest warrant from Grafton County, New Hampshire, for cocaine possession, police said.

This marks Young’s fourth arrest as a fugitive since September 2024, according to authorities.

Martin initially provided false identification to officers and was later determined to be wanted on a June 2023 extraditable felony warrant from Springfield, Massachusetts, for firearms violations.

Martin also had an outstanding July 2024 felony warrant from Caledonia Superior Court for possession of more than one ounce of cocaine, police reported.

During post-seizure analysis, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives task force member determined that one of the firearms, a Ruger AR-15, had been stolen from Benjamin Lennox, 36, of Bethlehem, New Hampshire.

The firearm, valued at approximately $1,400, had been modified since the theft, according to Lennox.

Martin now faces an additional felony charge of possession of stolen property valued over $900, police said.

Young was lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility without bail, while Martin was held pending arraignment scheduled for 12:30 p.m. March 14 in Caledonia Superior Court.

The Lyndonville Police Department was assisted by three deputies from the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department during the operation.
