Buffalo police seek information in 2018 homicide case

BUFFALO — Crime Stoppers Western New York is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of those responsible for the 2018 murder of Joshlyn “Booka” Bishop.

Bishop was killed on Dec. 27, 2018, in the area of 75 Stevenson St. in Buffalo.

Authorities are urging citizens with any knowledge of the incident to come forward.

The reward is specifically for information that helps law enforcement identify and apprehend the person or persons involved in Bishop’s homicide.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the free “Buffalo Tips” mobile app, available for download from both Apple and Android app stores.

No additional details about the circumstances of Bishop’s death have been released by authorities.
