SPRINGFIELD — A 29-year-old Springfield man was arrested Thursday afternoon on an active warrant at a local discount store.
Nathan Heist was taken into custody at 4:30 p.m. at Ollies bargain outlet on Chester Road, according to a press release from the Springfield Police Department.
Officers located Heist, who was known to have an active arrest warrant, and transported him to Southern State Correctional Facility.
Heist was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court at 12:30 p.m. on March 13 to answer to the charge of In State Warrant.
He was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 cash or surety bail.
