Orleans teen reported missing after leaving home

ORLEANS — Vermont State Police are searching for a 15-year-old boy who left his home on foot Saturday morning.

Kyler Hale was last seen leaving his residence in the Orleans Village area at approximately 10:55 a.m., according to authorities.

Police said there are no specific concerns for Hale’s safety, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

Hale is described as approximately 6 feet tall, 240 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder-length blond hair.

Troopers from the Derby Barracks were notified of Hale’s disappearance at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The direction Hale was traveling when he left home is unknown, police said.
