MIDDLEBURY — A Brandon man was arrested Friday evening on an active warrant and for violating court-ordered conditions of release.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police New Haven barracks took Jeffrey Preseau, 45, into custody at approximately 7:55 p.m. on Seymour St.
Authorities said Preseau had an active arrest warrant from Addison County and had violated court-ordered conditions requiring him to appear in court when summoned.
Preseau was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 7 at 12:30 p.m.
Following processing, Preseau was lodged at Marble Valley Correctional Facility on $200 bail.
The Addison County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Vermont State Police with the arrest.
