ETNA — Maine State Police arrested a woman Friday after finding her boyfriend dead at their shared residence in Etna.
Penobscot County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:40 a.m. at 372 Old County Rd., where they discovered the body of 41-year-old Luke Norris.
The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit North took over the investigation, with detectives and evidence response technicians processing the scene and conducting interviews throughout the day.
Authorities arrested 38-year-old Heidi Tasker, Norris’s girlfriend, and charged her with murder.
Tasker was transported to a local hospital for evaluation following her arrest.
The deceased was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Both Norris and Tasker resided at the Old County Road home where the incident occurred.
