Glens Falls man arrested for 2023 shooting on Maple Street

GLENS FALLS — A 33-year-old Glens Falls man was arrested Friday on multiple felony charges related to a shooting that occurred in August 2023.

Curtis D. Fisher was taken into custody by the Glens Falls Police Department on March 14 following an indictment warrant issued by Warren County Court Judge Robert Smith.

Fisher faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, assault in the first degree, criminal possession of a firearm, and failure to safely store firearms.

Police allege that Fisher illegally possessed a loaded, semi-automatic handgun without a serial number and fired two rounds at another person during an incident on Maple Street on August 13, 2023.

The arrest follows an investigation conducted by members of the patrol and detective divisions of the Glens Falls Police Department.

Fisher is being held pending his appearance in Warren County Court.

The Glens Falls Police Department acknowledged the New York State Police for their assistance with the investigation.
