OSSINING — A car fire broke out early Wednesday morning on Clinton Avenue near Tompkins Avenue, prompting a response from the Ossining Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to find flames in the engine compartment that had spread to the passenger area of the vehicle.
Fire crews worked for approximately 50 minutes to extinguish the blaze before being released from the scene.
The incident occurred around 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
