WINDSOR — New York State Police at Deposit, with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s Department, responded to a report of possible human remains on March 19 at approximately 12:48 p.m.
The remains were located behind the Windsor school bus garage on Main Street in the town of Windsor.
An investigation determined that the deceased individual is Edward L. Crampton, age 68.
No foul play is suspected in his death.
Crampton was reported missing in January after his family had not seen him since Thanksgiving time.
