ELLICOTTVILLE — The Ellicottville Police Department arrested a Salamanca man on March 14 after he failed to appear in court on multiple felony charges.
Darby Monahan, 46, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued by the Ellicottville Town Court.
The warrant stemmed from Monahan’s failure to appear on previous charges including burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, and grand larceny in the third degree, all class D felonies.
He also faces a charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a class E felony.
Monahan was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
