MADAWASKA — An extensive investigation by local and federal authorities led to the arrest of four individuals on drug-related charges following a search warrant execution Wednesday.
Angelina Dube, 31, of Madawaska, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Furnishing of a Scheduled Drug and Trafficking in a Scheduled Drug after officers discovered methamphetamine, prescription pills, and large sums of cash in her home on March 19.
The operation was conducted by the Madawaska Police Department in collaboration with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) and U.S. Border Patrol.
Two additional individuals present at Dube’s residence were taken into custody on outstanding warrants: Charity Deschaines, 35, of Van Buren, and Jeremiah Knox, 28, of Van Buren.
Brian Dumais, 55, of Fort Kent, was also charged with violating conditions of release and unlawful possession of methamphetamine as a result of the investigation.
All four individuals were transported to the Aroostook County Jail with court dates pending.
