BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department arrested a 36-year-old Dorchester woman Thursday night after responding to reports of a breaking and entering in progress in Jamaica Plain.
At about 9:30 p.m. on March 20, officers assigned to District E-13 responded to 128 Day Street where a suspect was reportedly attempting to use a wrench to break through the front and back doors.
Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the back door, which remained locked.
Officers canvassing the area located an individual matching the suspect description on the third-floor balcony of 4 Mark Street.
Police made contact with the individual, identified as Roneisha Feagin, 36, of Dorchester, and escorted her to ground level.
Officers discovered a discarded backpack on the second-floor balcony that was determined to belong to Feagin.
