MILLERTON — A Millerton man has been charged with felony driving while intoxicated offenses after being stopped by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office with a child in his vehicle.
The arrest of Roman I. Xo-ical, 33, took place on March 19 at approximately 11:35 p.m. in the Village of Millerton.
Sheriff’s Deputies initiated the traffic stop on N. Elm St. for unspecified traffic violations.
During the stop, Xo-ical was identified as the driver and was accompanied by a child passenger.
Further investigation led to Xo-ical’s arrest at the scene for driving while intoxicated.
He was subsequently transported for processing.
Xo-ical is charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated, felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (DWI with a child in the vehicle), and several traffic violations.
He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear before the Town of Northeast Court on April 8.
