SPRINGFIELD — A 21-year-old Springfield man was arrested Friday evening after police found his vehicle in a ditch near the Springfield-Weathersfield town line.
Isaac Rose was taken into custody on March 7 at approximately 6:37 p.m. when officers responded to Reservoir Road for reports of a vehicle off the roadway.
According to the Springfield Police Department, initial reports indicated the driver appeared intoxicated, smelled of alcohol and was stumbling.
Officers observed signs of impairment upon arrival and transported Rose to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
Rose was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on March 18 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to charges of Driving Under the Influence.
The incident remains under investigation by Officer Callahan of the Springfield Police Department.
