FONDA — State Police arrested a Gloversville man Tuesday on two counts of second-degree rape following an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse.
William M. Fox, 52, was taken into custody at his Johnstown home on March 18.
The investigation began on Jan. 27 when troopers received information about past sexual abuse of a child.
Investigators determined Fox allegedly had repeated sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 15 over the course of three years in the towns of Johnstown and Mayfield.
Fox was transported to State Police Fonda for processing before being transferred to the Fulton County Correctional Facility where he awaits arraignment.
