SPENCER — Two individuals were arrested Monday following the execution of a search warrant in the Pearl Street area, according to the Spencer Police Department.
Officers from the Spencer Police Department, working with the Western Worcester County Major Crime Task Force, conducted the operation at 10 a.m. on March 17, resulting in drug-related charges for both suspects.
Jessica Thomas, 50, faces multiple charges including trafficking in cocaine over 36 grams, possession of Class A, B, and E substances, possession with intent to distribute Class B, and withholding evidence from a criminal proceeding.
Alexandru Depta, 43, was charged with possession of Class B (subsequent offense) and possession with intent to distribute Class B.
The Massachusetts State Police Brookfield Barracks, Leicester Police Department, North Brookfield Police Department, and K9 units from Sturbridge and Leicester assisted in executing the warrant.
Police officials noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
