WALTON — A Walton man was arrested Sunday on an outstanding warrant for burglary and petit larceny charges, Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced.
Jeremy T. Stafford, 41, was taken into custody March 16 after the Broome County Sheriff’s Office contacted Delaware County deputies.
Stafford was being held by Broome County authorities on unrelated charges before being transferred to Delaware County deputies.
The arrest warrant, issued by the Town of Walton Court on March 4, 2024, charged Stafford with third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.
Delaware County deputies took custody of Stafford after he was processed and released by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
