RANDOLPH — A Bethel woman was arrested Tuesday night on multiple charges including driving under the influence and two active warrants, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks conducted a traffic stop around 11:25 p.m. on Route 12 near Beanville Road after observing motor vehicle violations.
The driver, identified as Erica M. Andrews, 43, of Bethel, displayed signs of impairment during the stop, police said.
Investigation revealed Andrews was operating the vehicle in a grossly negligent manner with a criminally suspended license.
Authorities also discovered Andrews had two active in-state arrest warrants, including charges for felony DUI and a separate misdemeanor DUI.
Andrews was arrested and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing before being lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
She faces new charges of driving under the influence, driving with a criminally suspended license, and negligent operation.
Andrews is scheduled to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on April 9 at 8:30 a.m. for the new charges.
She is also scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court in Woodstock on March 19 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to warrant charges including felony DUI and violation of conditions of release.
A separate appearance in Rutland County Criminal Court is also scheduled for March 19 at 12:30 p.m. for a misdemeanor DUI warrant.
Bail was set at $1,000.
