MT. HOLLY — Vermont State Police have charged a Poultney man with sexual assault following an investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred in Mt. Holly in October 2020.
Jason Seiple, 38, of Poultney, was cited on one count of sexual assault, according to authorities.
The investigation began when the Vermont State Bureau of Criminal Investigation identified an adult female who had previously been in a dating relationship with Seiple.
The woman told law enforcement that she was the victim of a crime committed by Seiple, prompting a full investigation by the VSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Investigators established probable cause to charge Seiple with one count of sexual assault allegedly committed in Mt. Holly in October 2020.
A citation was issued to Seiple through his attorney on March 19.
