BOSCAWEN — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle involved in the theft of an electric bicycle.
According to the Boscawen Police Department, a black 2024 Nakto Super Cruiser fat tire electric bike was stolen from outside the Dollar General store.
The stolen e-bike has several distinctive features, including a broken computer screen, rust on the front shocks, and a headlight that was dislodged but remains hanging by a wire.
Authorities obtained an image of the suspect’s vehicle through neighborhood crime watch efforts.
Police described the vehicle as an older model Volvo station wagon.
The owner of the stolen bicycle reportedly uses the e-bike as his primary transportation to work.
