Officers issued a Be On The Look Out (BOLO) alert to area departments, and North Brookfield Police Department later located the vehicle parked in front of a residence.
North Brookfield officers observed a firearm on the passenger’s seat, and the vehicle was towed to the Southbridge Police Department where detectives obtained a search warrant.
During the search, police recovered a Glock handgun, two loaded magazines and 25 rounds of ammunition.
Paredes was charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, possession of a firearm without a License to Carry, possession of a loaded firearm without a License to Carry, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
After processing, Paredes was transported to Dudley District Court for arraignment.
