Nashua teen arrested after high-speed chase in Hudson

HUDSON — A Nashua man has been charged with Reckless Conduct with a deadly weapon after he led Hudson Police in a high-speed pursuit early Tuesday morning.

The driver of the vehicle involved, identified as Brandon Paliquin, 19, of Nashua, was taken into custody after Hudson Police observed his vehicle around 1:47 a.m., traveling at a high rate of speed, westbound on Ferry St. towards Nashua.

Hudson Police attempted to stop Paliquin’s vehicle on Ferry St. which is where the pursuit started.

While attempting to stop the vehicle Paliquin was operating, he attempted to elude police by speeding through neighborhoods and main thoroughfares in town, driving past and through traffic control signs, and over concrete medians.

Paliquin ended up crashing his vehicle into a fire hydrant and parked vehicle in the area of Winnhaven Dr. in Hudson.

No injuries were reported and Paliquin was eventually taken into police custody without incident.

Paliquin was charged with one felony count of Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated DWI; attempting to elude police, Aggravated DWI; excessive speed, DWI, Disobeying an Officer, Reckless Operation, and Transporting Alcohol by a Minor.

Paliquin was released on Personal Recognizance Bail and is set to appear at the 9TH Circuit Court Nashua on April 3 at 1:00 p.m.
