MILTON — Detectives from the Milton Police Department discovered a firearm, ammunition and a large quantity of illegal narcotics while executing a search warrant Tuesday as part of an ongoing home invasion investigation.
The search warrant was executed on a vehicle March 18 at 11 a.m. in collaboration with the Walpole and Quincy Police Departments.
The search was connected to an armed home invasion that occurred Monday night, which had already resulted in the arrest of Gilad Cohen, 31, of Newton.
Police said additional firearm and narcotics trafficking charges will be sought against Cohen, who was previously charged with armed home invasion.
