CABOT — Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to a report of an impaired driver and found a man overdosing on the side of Vermont Route 215 at approximately 10:19 a.m. on March 19.
The man was a 45-year-old resident of Cabot, and was determined to be the subject of the original impaired driving complaint.
He was transported to the Central Vermont Medical Center for treatment.
Following an investigation, Smith was issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court on charges of DUI Drug, Criminal DLS, and Violation of Conditions of Release.
