GENEVA — The Geneva Police Department is searching for a 32-year-old man wanted for failure to appear in court on multiple charges including assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Shawn M. Meacham, whose last known address was in Horseheads, New York, is wanted on an original charge of third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Meacham is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking anyone with information about Meacham’s whereabouts to call their tip line at 315-781-0096 or their 24-hour line at 315-789-1111.
Tips can also be submitted online at www.cityofgenevany.com, and all information can remain confidential, according to police.
Authorities advise that if Meacham sees this notice, he should turn himself in to police.
Police caution the public not to take any action other than contacting authorities with information.
