SAUGERTIES — A California man was arrested Sunday night following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle complaint in Saugerties, police said.
Joseph R. Montano, 49, of Livermore, California, was charged with one misdemeanor count of stalking in the fourth degree, according to the Saugerties Police Department.
The arrest occurred at approximately 10:34 p.m. on March 16 on Blue Hills Drive.
Montano was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and then arraigned in Central Arraignment Part Court in Kingston.
