RICHMOND — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Massachusetts woman Tuesday morning on charges of counterfeit registration plates and providing false documents to a public official.
Jennifer Ramos, 42, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was arrested at 9:09 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Nooseneck Hill Road in Richmond.
Ramos was released at the scene with a future court date in Fourth Division District Court.
In a separate incident, troopers arrested Brent A. Roberts, 40, of Narragansett, Rhode Island, at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday following a motor vehicle accident at 560 South County Trail in Exeter.
Roberts was charged with driving under the influence of liquor with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater, second offense.
Police reported his BAC readings were .239% and .255%.
Roberts was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult pending a future Fourth Division District Court date.
