WEST YARMOUTH — A West Yarmouth man was arrested Sunday afternoon after police discovered crack cocaine during a routine traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker.
Yarmouth Police officers were patrolling Route 28 when they noticed a Toyota Camry with an inspection sticker that was five months overdue.
During the investigation, officers found a crack pipe and multiple bags of crack cocaine in the possession of Shane Sullivan, 38, of West Yarmouth.
Sullivan was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Controlled Substance.
He was arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Monday.
The driver of the vehicle received a warning for the inspection sticker violation and was released from the scene.
