SWANTON — A 35-year-old Swanton man was arrested Monday on multiple active warrants related to driving with a suspended license.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks were conducting patrol around 5:29 p.m. when they located Shalik Kelly at a residence on St. Albans Road in Swanton.
Kelly had multiple active warrants for his arrest stemming from operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
After making contact with Kelly, troopers took him into custody and transported him to Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans.
He is being held on $200 bail.
The active warrants included charges of vehicle operation with a license suspended under 23 VSA 674(a)(2) and 23 VSA 674(a)(1), both misdemeanors.
