Police raid Waterbury, CT apartment, arrest 9 in drug bust

WATERBURY — Police arrested nine people and seized drugs including fentanyl, cocaine and heroin during a raid at a West Main Street apartment Wednesday afternoon.

Members of multiple Waterbury Police Department units executed search warrants at 479 W. Main St. Apt. 4C around 3:26 p.m. March 12, according to police.

Officers also had warrants for Brian Williams, 46, of Waterbury, and a white Toyota Camry.

During the search, police seized fentanyl, cocaine, 63 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia and $191 in cash.

Williams was charged with operating a drug factory and two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

Jessica Murphy, 36, and Rochelle Reeves, 35, both of Waterbury, were charged with possession of narcotics and interfering with a search warrant.

Six other Waterbury residents — Senasha Bennefield, 32, Meghan Davey, 38, Christina Rhynhart, 37, Nicole Hulett, 33, Jogaintz Ledoux, 26, and Heather Quiroz, 42 — were charged with interfering with a search warrant.

Police said Rhynhart, Bennefield, Quiroz and Davey all had active warrants, which were served during the operation.
